A Super Car for a Super Hero

A Super Car for a Super Hero

I love movies almost as much as I love cars, and when these two loves come together it’s usually a special treat. While watching movies, my companions sometimes ask, “What are they driving?”  It’s usually something exotic and exciting and I almost always know the answer.

One of my favorite film series is James Bond and the cars are a big reason why I love these films. One of the most well-known cars ever to appear in a movie is the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger. Super hero movies have also been scoring big at the box office in recent years. I must admit, I’m not a big super hero movie fan, however, add a super car and you’ve piqued my interest. Who can forget Tony Stark’s choice of an Audi R8 in the Iron Man films or the most appropriate vehicle choice ever – a Lamborghini Murcielago and a Lamborghini Aventador for Batman‘s Bruce Wayne. Get excited because Lamborghini is making a return to the big screen in the latest Marvel film, Doctor Strange.

Earlier this week at the Doctor Strange premiere, Lamborghini showed off a Huracan Coupe, as seen in the new film. In fact, Lamborghini was the co-title sponsor at the world premiere of the new movie. The Huracan is actually driven by Doctor Stephen Strange during a pivotal moment in the movie’s plot. When you head out to the local cineplex next month to see Doctor Strange and the person you’re with asks, “What is he driving,” you should respond by saying, “A Lamborghini Huracan Coupe, in the color Grigio Lynx.”  Ok, maybe that’s a mouthful of words to share, but it’s worth shot just to get their reaction.

Doctor Strange is played by Benedict Cumberbatch. The film also stars Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong and opens in theaters nationwide on November 4, 2016.

See if you can spot the Lambo in the Official Trailer #2 of Doctor Strange.
